This is the image for the news article titled Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?The Uintah Schools Foundation is hosting its "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" event on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the district office building.

The evening's entertainment will include fifth graders from each of our elementary schools competing against adults from our community to see who is smarter.

The audience will also have a part in the fun with opportunities to pledge cash awards for correct answers from either side.

As part of the program, the foundation will also present the 2022 Showalter Excellence in Teaching Award to this year's recipients: Uintah High mathematics teacher Sharon Kron and UHS band/orchestra teacher Brian Gibson.
