SALARY POLICY
SALARY SCHEDULES 

Teacher/Administrator Absence Forms: All certified employees complete a monthly absence form via Droplet.  Forms are due by the end of the 2nd working day of each month.

TimeForce Verification: All classified and part-time employees track time through TimeForce. The monthly verification is to be completed by the end of the 2nd working day of each month.  Employees and supervisors should both complete the verification by the end of the 2nd working day of the month.

Payroll Payable Vouchers are submitted via Droplet and are due by the 10th of each month. Pay periods run from the first day to the last day of the previous month.

Earning Statements for all employees will be available on the Uintah School District Employee Service Portal on payday.

No payroll checks or earning statements will be issued early. All employees are paid via direct deposit.

SICK LEAVE BANK: (optional)
Full-time employees may donate 1 PTO day per year to the bank. Please refer to the Sick Leave Bank Policy 005.0631.

LONGEVITY INCENTIVE:
After an employee has completed their 21st year with the district, a base of $1,500.00 plus a percentage of 2.5% of their salary will be paid into a medical trust account or other special pay plan. Which account the funds will be paid into will be determined through an interview process. By this formula, an amount will be paid into the account for each year the employee completes their contract.

PTO PAYOUT UPON VOLUNTARY SEPARATION FROM UINTAH SCHOOL DISTRICT:

Paid Time Off (PTO) Policy 005.0630

The following three-tiered plan will be used for payout of unused PTO days upon voluntary separation from Uintah School District, and is based upon the employee's final year contract daily rate:

  1. After 10 years of service with Uintah School District, the employee's unused PTO days will be paid at a rate of 35%;
  2. After 20 years of service with Uintah School District, the employee's first 150 unused PTO days will be paid at a rate of 35%; days 151- 200 will be paid at a rate of 45%; and days 201+ will be paid at 55%;
  3. After 25 years of service with Uintah School District, the employee's first 150 unused PTO days will be paid at a rate of 45%; days 151-200 will be paid at a rate of 55%; and days 201+ will be paid at 65%;
  4. After 30+ years of service with Uintah School District, the employee's first 150 unused PTO days will be paid at a rate of 55%; days 151-200 will be paid at a rate of 65%; and days 201+ will be paid at 75%.

All payouts will be made into a med trust account or special pay plan, to be determined through an interview process.
