NOTICE: The Uintah School District investigates all complaints of alleged misconduct by an employee, as required by federal law, state law, and district policy.

Depending on the alleged misconduct, a law enforcement agency may also decide to conduct a separate investigation to determine whether a crime has been committed. This may happen independent of the district’s internal personnel investigation.

By policy, an employee may be placed on leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

The Uintah School District takes all complaints of employee misconduct seriously and investigates them thoroughly because student safety is paramount.

The district, however, is restricted by law and by policy with regard to what it can release to the public about the status or outcome of an investigation.
