Weekly District Update - Dec. 4, 2021

The Uintah High School Marching Band and Uintah High School Orchestra flew to Hawaii this week to begin final preparations for their performance in the 2021 Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
This year’s parade will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, following Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. Its goal is to unite generations in a meaningful event that honors WWII veterans and Pearl Harbor survivors, while educating and inspiring the young Americans who will join together to salute them.
The parade is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 9 p.m. MT. The marching band and orchestra are 62nd in the parade line up. To watch a live stream, visit

The board will hold a special work session beginning at 3 p.m. to discuss redistricting of voting districts. The board’s regular work session is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., with the business meeting to follow at 6 p.m.
The agendas for the work session and business meeting can be found on the
district website. Both meetings will be streamed live on the
