Congratulations to our April Students of the Month! Here's what teachers and staff have to say about them:
Mishel Arteaga Aquino (8th Grade) is a student I cannot recommend enough. Her work ethic, both in and out of the classroom, is unmatched. She's a kind, quiet soul who understands the value of education and works hard to ensure her grades reflect her dedication to her future. Mishel is a student who truly represents our school’s values.
Brandon Perez (7th Grade) is a very determined student who strives for success. He consistently sets the standard in the classroom with his focus and drive. His efforts serve as an example to others.
Maxine Uncapiuke (6th Grade) is a creative, happy, and kind student who brings positivity wherever she goes. She's polite, hardworking, and, above all, incredibly accepting of others. It’s been a privilege to watch Maxine help other students come out of their shells and form friendships.

This trimester was filled with hard work, learning and plenty of great experiences! Advisory service projects continued making a difference and our girls' and boys' basketball teams had a fantastic season. The Science Fair showcased student creativity, the Holly Jolly Concert brought music and cheer and Career Day gave 7th graders a glimpse into their future. Students explored new interests in fun clubs, and our brand-new ceramics class gave students a chance to get creative.
Thank you, Hawks, for your dedication, effort and school spirit. Learning continues to grow because of you! Here’s to another great trimester ahead!
No school Monday, see you Tuesday!

Miss Guzzle’s class hit all the right notes with their recent performances at Uintah Care Center and The Beehive Home as part of the Peter R. Marsh Foundation Middle School Grant. This grant encourages middle school students to serve and connect with senior citizens in our community— and they did just that.
From heartfelt songs to hand-delivered Valentine’s cards, the joy in the room was undeniable. Seeing faces light up—both in the audience and on our students—made the experience unforgettable.
Way to go, Hawks!

Mrs. Stewart's Advisory class recently created handmade Valentines for Cards for Kids @ Heart, a local charity that spreads love to seniors in the Uintah Basin. Each senior receives 4-5 Valentines, a stuffed animal, and chocolates to brighten their day!
Earlier this year, they also spread kindness in a thoughtful way—placing positive notes in library books for students to find when they check them out!
Small acts, big impact! Way to go Hawks!

Mr. Pierce, our awesome 6th-grade science and STEM teacher (and science club advisor), has been awarded the Mountain America Foundation Educator Grant! His love for all things science is contagious and this grant will help bring a 3D printer to our students.
Way to go, Mr. Pierce!

Please note that when paying by check for school lunch fees, the check must be made payable to Uintah School District rather than to individual schools. This ensures proper processing and avoids any delays in applying payments to your child’s account. If you have any questions, please contact the Foods office at 435-781-3185.
