The Uintah School Board held a regularly scheduled work session and business meeting on Wednesday at the district office in Naples. A video recording of the work session and business meeting is available on the districtās YouTube channel.
The board celebrated the district students of the month during its business meeting. The district's Students of the Month for December 2025 are Brooklyn Murray (Central Cove Early Learning Center), Ulalei Tilo (Ashley Elementary), Braxxton Perry (Davis Elementary), Dominic Begay (Discovery Elementary), Gauge Rock (Eagle View Elementary), Duritan Yeppa (Lapoint Elementary), Kara Colt (Maeser Elementary), Bentley Case (Naples Elementary), Eason Merrell (Uintah Middle School), Jet Bowden (Vernal Middle School), Aiden Dilworth (Uintah High School), and Cash Jenkins (Ashley Valley Education Center/Uintah Online).
Congratulations to these outstanding students and thank you to everyone who supports them!
UHS Choir Christmas Concert
The Uintah High Choir program will perform its holiday concert, āChristmas Old and New,ā on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. in the UHS Auditorium. The concert will feature performances by the General Choir, Polyphony, Luminosa, Virsonum, and SoVoce. Admission is FREE. The concert will be streamed on the Uintah High Choir Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person.
Minimum School Day ā Dec. 23
Tuesday, Dec. 23, is the final school day of 2025. All USD schools will follow the districtās Minimum School Day schedule that day. Information about start and release times on Dec. 23 can be found on the district website.
Change Coming for School Fees
Uintah School District is changing providers for paying school fees. The current online payment system will be shut down after the school day ends on Friday, Dec. 19. Parents/guardians will receive an email invitation on Jan. 6 from LINQ ERP Fee Pay to activate their Alio Fee Pay account. The district will send a reminder about the change to Alio Fee Pay on Jan. 5. You are not required to pay school fees online. If you prefer, you can still pay school fees in person at your childās school.
Weekend Events
The Uintah High Girls Wrestling Team is competing today in the Aviatrix Invitational at Dixie High in St. George. Matches got underway at 10:30 a.m. The team will compete tomorrow at the Lady Wolves Tournament at Enterprise High in Enterprise, with matches scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m.
The Uintah High Boys Wrestling Team is competing today and tomorrow at the Juab Winter Classic in Nephi. Todayās matches are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Tomorrowās matches are set to begin at 9 a.m.
The Uintah High Boys Basketball Team hosts the Morgan High Trojans tonight at UHS. Sophomores play at 3:30 p.m., freshmen and JV play at 5:15 p.m., and the varsity game tips off at 7 p.m. Advance tickets can be purchased at https://gofan.co. Tickets will also be sold at the door, where cash is accepted. The varsity game will be streamed live on the Uintah High Hudl Fan website.

And finally, the Uintah High Robotics Club is hosting the Eastern Utah VEX V5 Robotics Competition tomorrow at UHS. Qualification matches are scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m., with the finals set to begin about 2 p.m. The Utes have five teams signed up to compete.
