As part of their study of Native American art from our region, students are creating their own beading projects and learning firsthand about local traditions. Mrs. Selestewa shared her knowledge about tanning hides, beading traditions, and Pow-Wow celebrations and dancing.
We are grateful to have such talented and knowledgeable artists in the Uintah Basin who help our students learn about the culture and history of the place we call home.



Vernal Middle School proudly hosted its Creative Arts Showcase, welcoming a full auditorium of families, friends, and community members. The evening highlighted the incredible talents and creativity of our students through a variety of performances and artistic presentations.
The strong community turnout made the event especially meaningful and demonstrated continued support for the arts at VMS. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the night a memorable celebration of student achievement and creativity.
