Uintah Middle School is pleased to introduce changes to the 6th grade schedule designed to help students transition smoothly from elementary to middle school. Beginning this school year, 6th graders will benefit from enhanced instructional time in core academic subjects.
What's New
Students will have increased time in English Language Arts, Math, and Science to build a strong foundation in these essential subjects. Elective classes will be offered during the first and last periods of the day, rotating every six weeks for most courses. Social Studies, Physical Education, and Health will be taught as trimester-long courses, providing students with a consistent daily routine while allowing them to explore a variety of electives and adjust to the middle school environment.
