Uintah High School is pleased to announce that UHS Vice Principal Stephanie Bills has been assigned the duties of Athletics Director. The assignment fills the vacancy created by Les Hamilton’s resignation at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
“Stephanie is an outstanding school administrator who has demonstrated a strong work ethic and exceptional leadership skills,” Uintah Schools Superintendent Dr. Rick Woodford said.
“She loves Uintah High and is a strong supporter of the school’s athletic programs,” Woodford said. “She has high expectations for the future of our athletics programs and will do her best to ensure that our student-athletes have a positive and successful experience.”
Bills will continue to serve as a vice principal. She is excited for the opportunity to step into the AD role as well and continue the long-standing traditions that make UHS Athletics special.
“As someone who has lived and breathed high school sports my entire life, I am deeply committed to building on the strong foundation already in place and helping our programs continue to rise,” she said.
“I believe deeply in developing student-athletes who carry the lessons of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance with them beyond the field—to college, careers, and their communities,” Bills added.
Bills looks forward to working with UHS students, staff, families, and the community to support student-athletes and elevate the athletics programs.
“I’m proud to be part of the journey and excited to keep building a program we can all be proud of,” she said. “Let’s keep the momentum going! GO UTES!”
