Summer Reading Challenge Winners

The library is thrilled to announce the winners of our summer reading challenge! This year, Uintah High School students and staff were encouraged to track their reading minutes over the summer. Congratulations to our top readers:

  • 10th Grade: Sophia Olson with an impressive 13,800 minutes

  • 11th Grade: Abbygail Morrison with 5,357 minutes

  • 12th Grade: Georgie Coughran with 5,233 minutes

  • Staff Winner: Mrs. Manwaring with 12,990 minutes

September Reading Challenge: New Chapter Challenge

Remember to track at least 400 minutes to be entered to win big prizes at the end of the month. Tracking 400 minutes on Beanstack can help make progress toward the 1,600 minutes first trimester prize: a 43-inch TV!

 

About the Uintah High School Library:

Our mission is to champion literacy and reading, create learning spaces, provide and seek out quality resources, support all users, teach information literacy skills, and engage with the community.

Our Grand Prize winners were Logan Mitchell, who won a TV; Gideon O’Neil, who won AirPods Pro 2; and Isaac Edrington, who won a Nintendo Switch. The top 3 students for each grade were: Seniors, Logan Mitchell, Stockton Jolley, and Macie Richards. For Juniors: Gideon O’Neil, Georgie Coughran, and Makayla Sasse. For Sophomores: Mason Padigimus, Abigail Slaugh, and Abbygail Morrison. For Freshmen: Sophia Olson, EmaLee Richens, and Talon Wheeler.
