The documentary series Small Town Comeback has released a new episode titled “Rise of Rural Education with Utah State University Uintah Basin and Uintah School District,” showcasing a community partnership to transform early childhood education in Uintah County.
When the aging Central Cove Preschool could no longer meet the community's needs, two local education partners joined forces to create a replacement designed to be the “Best in the West.” The episode follows the collaboration between the Utah State University Uintah Basin and the Uintah School Board as they build a new, state-of-the-art early learning center.
Through interviews and on-the-ground storytelling, the film highlights the vision, planning, and teamwork behind the project. It demonstrates how strong partnerships and shared commitment can expand opportunities for Pre-K students and help shape the future of rural education.
Central Cove's 2026-2027 waitlist is now open. If you would like to get your child on the list, please fill out the application.
