UPDATE: Effective Dec. 14, 2020, the Uintah School District stopped serving free grab-n-go meals at Uintah High School, Uintah Middle School and Vernal Middle School. All children 18 and under can still order and pick up free grab-n-go meals from any of the district's elementary schools.

UPDATE: On Oct. 23, 2020, the Uintah School District was informed that this program will continue through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. This article has been updated to reflect that change.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, 2020,  the Uintah School District will provide free breakfast and free lunch for all kids, ages 18 and under.

This free meal program is being offered through a federal waiver that is part of the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will continue through the end of the 2020-2021 school year, according to the Utah State Board of Education.

Students who are attending USD schools in person can continue to eat breakfast or lunch at school Monday through Thursday, just as they have been doing. The only difference is that both meals will now be free for all students.

Free grab-n-go curbside breakfast will be offered Monday through Thursday for all other children ages 18 and under from all Uintah School District campuses, except Ashley Valley Education Center and Central Cove.

Free grab-n-go curbside lunch will be offered Monday through Friday for all other children ages 18 and under from all Uintah School District campuses, except Ashley Valley Education Center and Central Cove.

Parents can pick up meals for all their children ages 18 and under from whichever Uintah School District campus they choose. The schedule for grab-n-go breakfast and grab-n-go lunch is included below.

The district asks that all grab-n-go meals be pre-ordered. Please submit your order forms to the school that you would like to pick meals up from no later than the Thursday prior to the week of meal service. You can submit an online meal order here: Grab-N-Go Order Form
