Ashley Elementary School is situated in the beautiful Ashley Valley in eastern Utah, near the Wyoming and Colorado borders. Located in the city of Vernal, Utah, Ashely Elementary currently has 414 students, with a projection of close to 450 students for the 2007-2008 school year. The school has twenty four teachers, 3 specialists, and nineteen support staff members.

The school is fortunate to be actively involved with the Foster Grandparent Program. We have many foster grandparents helping out in the classroom. Ashley opened its door in 1961 and its current principal, Diedra Massey attended first grade at Ashley Elementary that year. Her mother also taught sixth grade at Ashley its opening year.
